Gel / Fast Hydration
Guar gum, derived from guar beans—an edible legume native to India—is a natural thickening and stabilizing agent. Similar to xanthan gum, it is a self-hydrating substance that swells in water-based solutions. At low concentrations, it enhances the stability of emulsions, while at higher concentrations, it serves as an independent thickener, ideal for creating gel-based products.
